Deleting your information
Redigi Pty Ltd, ACN 683 525 859, ABN 46 683 525 859, Australia
You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you, at any time. You do not need an account, you do not need to give a reason, and it costs nothing.
Who this page is for
Redigi provides marketing and technology services to real estate offices. If you have enquired about that service, worked with us, been invoiced by us, or signed in to the Studio at my.redigi.com.au, then we hold something about you and this page is for you.
It sits alongside the privacy policy rather than adding to it. Every route, address and period below is section 6, 10, 12, 13 or 14 of that policy, written out as instructions instead of clauses.
How to ask
Email privacy@redigi.com.au
Put “delete my information” in the subject line so it is not missed.
Tell us where to look
So we can find you: the email address or phone number you used, the office you were with, and roughly when. Any one of those usually does it.
We check it is really you
We may ask you a question or two first. That is not us being difficult: deleting someone's records on a stranger's say-so would be the worse failure. We ask for the least we can.
We confirm within 30 days
We tell you what we deleted, and what, if anything, we had to keep and why. It is usually much faster than thirty days.
What gets deleted
Everything we hold that is about you, which here means:
- Your enquiry. Your name, your email address and phone number, the office you named, and whatever you put in the message.
- Your contact record, if your office is or was a client: your name, your work email address and phone number, and the note of what you did there.
- Your Studio account and the record of what you did in it, if you signed in.
- Any other record of you we are holding that is not named under what we keep, below.
What we may never have held. There is no form on redigi.com.au, so nothing you typed is here to delete. Where a page carries advertising or analytics, section 4 of the privacy policy names it and says what it collects, and anything held about you there can be asked for or deleted the same way as everything else on this page.
If you dealt with us somewhere else
Redigi runs surfaces that do not sit on this domain. If you messaged an agency and got a reply from a chat, or asked for documents on a property campaign page, that was one of them and the details you gave went there rather than here.
You do not have to work out which. privacy@redigi.com.au reaches the same people for all of it, and we will act on everything Redigi holds about you and tell you what we found. If you would rather go straight to the surface you used, heyrova.com/data-deletion and suburbreports.au/data-deletion each set out their own route, and each explains the parts specific to it.
One limit worth naming. Where your enquiry was for a real estate agency, that agency holds its own copy in its own systems, on its own schedule, under its own privacy policy. Deleting ours does not delete theirs. We act on ours, and in the same reply we tell you exactly who to contact there. We will not leave you to work that out and we will not pretend one email covers both.
What we keep, and why
Two things can survive a deletion request, and we would rather name them here than have you find out later.
- That you unsubscribed. If you have unsubscribed, we keep a minimal record of it permanently. Forgetting it would mean contacting you again after you told us not to, so that record protects you rather than us. It is the bare fact and nothing more.
- Financial records, if we invoiced you. Australian tax law requires us to keep invoices, payments and the associated records for seven years. That applies to an office we have billed. Someone who only enquired has no transaction with us, so it does not apply to them.
And if you never ask us at all, nothing sits here forever. Contact and enquiry records are destroyed or stripped of anything identifying you three years after we last hear from you, and records of work we did for a client after three years.
An agency's data, once it stops working with us, is deleted within 30 days of its written request, or 12 months after the engagement ends, whichever comes first. Unsubscribe records and the financial records tax law requires stay.
Stopping the emails is a different thing, and it is faster
Deleting what we hold and stopping future contact are two separate requests, and you may only want the second.
Every marketing email we send carries a working unsubscribe, and you can reply to any of them with the word unsubscribe. One step, and it holds permanently: you do not have to say it again for each later send, because every send checks first.
If you are not happy with how we handle it
Tell us first, at privacy@redigi.com.au. We acknowledge within 5 business days and respond within 30 days.
Coming to us first is offered, not required. If that does not resolve it, or if you would rather not come to us at all, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
The same route, the same address and the same thirty-day turnaround are set out in sections 12, 13 and 14 of the privacy policy. If this page and that document ever disagree, the policy governs and this page is the one with the mistake.
